Rebirth

They are Judith, my character of Vampire the masquerade and Mikael, her maker.
This is the birth and death of Judith. The human death and the birth of a vampire.
I hope I have made ​​the noir atmosphere and the feelings.

I used a mixed technique of digital painting and photomanipulation (the background is photomanipulation while the models are almost entirely painted). Are a newbie in this technique, but I like it and I hope to improve!

Blaire on the night

Bleire in the night

She is Bleaire, the character in Vampire: the masquerade of my best friend. She is a Brujah. In truth it should be not very pretty, but I wanted to represent it as a beautiful girl (the muse was the beautiful Milla Jovovich, then make it ugly would be difficult!)

This illustration is a mix of photomanipulation and digital painting. I used my trusty tablet Trust :D  and photoshop CS5 for made it!

Ho creato questa illustrazione qualche giorno fa usando il pretesto di Halloween :)

Ultimamente la mia ispirazione è incline ai vampiri, comunque in questo caso ho abbandonato la consueta aria noir e macabra in favore di una più...fiabesca (certo alla Nightmare before christmas :P)

The subject is my character vampire: the masquerade, Judith.

I tried to create a fairytale atmosphere, I hope I did!

This illustration is a mix of photomanipulation and digital painting. I used my trusty tablet Trust :P and photoshop CS5 for made it!

Shadow of the Night

Volevo creare un'illustrazione dall'aria noir. La mia fonte di ispirazione principale è stato il film "Blade Runner".
Ho voluto dare al soggetto un'aria ferina e aliena. Ha un'espressione da predatore, ma anche degli occhi (bhè se ne vede solo uno :P) assurdamente luminosi, anormali.

Spero di aver ricreato l'aria dark del "Mondo di tenebra" di Vampire: The Masquarade, anche perché questa illustrazione è ispirata proprio a questo gioco.

La tecnica che ho utilizzato è una miscela di digital painting e fotomanipolazione. Mi sono affacciata da poco in questo tipo di illustrazione, ma devo ammettere che già mi piace molto!
Ovviamente si può sempre migliorare e non vedo l'ora di farlo! :)

Il soggetto è il mio personaggio in Vampiri: la masquerade. Si chiama Judith ed è un vampiro, un gangrel per l'esattezza.

La tecnica che ho utilizzato per questa illustrazione è una tecnica mista di digital painting e photomanipulation. L'ho realizzata con Photoshop CS5 e la mia fedelissima tavoletta grafica trust!

L'opera qui presente è una delle mie ultime che ha avuto la dignità di essere terminata. L'ho progettata ed eseguita a luglio (2012)

Questo è uno dei miei primi esperimenti di surrealismo.

All'università ho seguito una lezione sul surrealismo, che mi ha ricordato questa corrente, così mi sono documentata e l'ho studiata un po' scoprendo che in effetti mi piace molto la corrente di pensiero che vi è dietro. Così ho pensato di omaggiare dato stile con un opera.

Quest'opera parla (anche abbastanza banalmente) della vita. Ho inserito al suo interno diverse simbologie che rendono lampante questo messaggio, ad esempio la donna che si fonde con l'acqua, l'acqua stessa, fonte di vita, la spuma del mare, la conchiglia contenente un uovo che misticamente galleggia sull'acqua, il cielo roseo d'alba.

Spero di essere riuscita a esprimere efficacemente ciò che volevo. 

Ho realizzato quest'opera usufruendo di PhotoShop CS5 e della mia fedelissima tavoletta grafica!

Come riferimento base per la bozza iniziale ho utilizzato delle foto gentilmente postate negli stock degli utenti di DeviantArt.

Per la donna ho fatto riferimento a una foto di faestock

Per la conchiglia ho fatto riferimento a un'immagine di Kansheera-stock

Presentazione

Salve a tutti,
Il mio nome è Giulia, ho ventidue anni e studio presso l'Accademia di Belle Arti della mia città. Fin da piccola ho sempre mostrato uno smodato interesse per l'espressione, interesse che ho deciso di abbracciare interamente quando mi iscrissi al Istituto Statale d'Arte della mia città. Qui ho appreso le nozioni di disegno tradizionale, dell'arte della decorazione pittorica, di Storia dell'Arte, e tutte le abilità tecniche necessarie a esprimi artisticamente. Terminati gli studi superiori ho deciso di proseguire il mio cammino presso l'Accademia all'indirizzo di Graphic Design, poiché negli anni delle scuole superiori ho sviluppato un netto interesse per la Digital Art e l'utilizzo di strumenti quali tavolette grafiche e software dedicati alla produzione artistica digitale.

Mi piacerebbe tantissimo lavorare come illustratrice, nel particolare, magari, come character design per una casa di videogame, vista la mia particolare attrazione per la figura umana (che io adoro ritrarre) o come illustratrice di libri.

Ho aperto questo blog per utilizzarlo come prtfolio e caricare qui le mie illustrazioni.

Hi all,
My name is GIulia, I'm twenty-two years old and study at the Academy of Fine Arts in my hometown. Even as a child I have always shown considerable interested in drawing, interest that I decided to fully embrace when I enrolled in the Art Institute of my city. Here I learned the concepts of traditional design, the art of decorative painting, art history, and allthe necessary skills to express myself artistically. After finishing high school I decided to continue my studies at the Academy of  Fine Arts by specializing in Graphic Design at, because in years of high school I developed a marked interest in Digital Art and the use of tools such as tablets and software dedicated to digital art production.

I would love to work as an illustrator, in particular, perhaps, as a character design for a software house of videogiochi, given my particular attraction for the human figure (which I love to portray) or as an illustrator of books.

I started this blog to use as prtfolio and load my illustrations here.
